Has anyone seen this error code before? I'm running a TS to a Windows XP machine to upgrade to Win7 using an MDT TS created in SCCM. The TS is unmodified but I've never seen this error and also cannot find any documenation for it. What strikes me is that all error codes I've seen begin 0x8 but this begin 0x0. Any ideas?

Whatever you are running using a run command-line task is what is returning the error code. Later in the TS, it's modified with domain name to join, etc. but these early parts (and to clarify, this is in the Initialization group containing: "Set Diskpart BIOS Compatibility" "Format and Partition Disk" <--^^^Both of these are excluded due to IF statements that are included by default in the TS "Use Toolkit Package" <-- calls package MDT 2010 Files created as part of TS creation "Check Pre-reqs" <--Runs: cscript.exe "%deployroot%\scripts\ztiprereq.vbs" "Gather" <-- Options to gather only local data or Gather Local data and process rules: calls CustomSettings.ini in Target Custom Settings Package created during TS creation. Better late than never, but I think I found your answer/ I ran into the same error. The BDD.log shows some more detail: FAILURE ( 9809 ): Error - Performing a Refresh to a partition that does not match the current OS partition is not supported.
